Delivering exceptional results for Domino's US Careers Site
How we migrated Domino’s US Careers Site to our platform to streamline content management, improve SEO, and sunset legacy code (and the immense support that came with it).
Domino’s required a careers website built on top of a cutting-edge platform - enabling them to manage content more easily, sync jobs from their new SmartRecruiters ATS more seamlessly and provide a world-class candidate experience through a bespoke map-based job search – designed with high volume hiring UX in mind.
Domino’s is a recognized world leader in pizza delivery. These values permeate all aspects of the employee lifecycle and are evident in the team’s talent acquisition strategy.
First, we refactored the front-end code based on the existing design. We then built the site on our Careers Site platform and integrated it with the client’s SmartRecruiters ATS.
At a volume of 25,000+ active and growing requisitions, Domino’s required performance at scale - Leveraging a bespoke implementation of Azure Search we achieved an incredibly performant job search; while retaining a layer of intelligence to ensure relevance in results.
Using Google Maps we drop pins for 6500+ stores within an interactive map, in a UX most resonant with high volume, hourly job seekers – we achieved a speedy, yet visually engaging experience for locating jobs most relevant to prospective job seekers.
We also migrated existing content, while scrubbing and properly tagging for improved SEO.
Domino’s US careers site went live on our platform end of Q3 2021 and the results have been exceptional, including:
- There was a 17.39% increase in site visits overall (year over year comparison)
- Mobile utilization increased by 51%
- Site page load speed improved from 23 seconds to 2.6 seconds
- Domino’s has received 403,182 job applications, avg. 1,783 apps/day (62% increase YOY)
- An average conversion rate of 25% (Unique site visits to submitted application)
- Reduced time to update content by 3-4 weeks on average
- Enabled Domino’s to reallocate resources to more innovative projects (estimated monthly savings of 20-30 hrs).
Ph.Creative delivered on time, to spec and within budget. Despite significant headwinds and a VERY tight timeline, the team knocked it out of the park. While it wasn’t the flashiest of projects on the surface (lifting and shifting content/aesthetics), the core platform changes have been a major unlock for us – enabling us to move quickly as our business continuously pivots in reaction to the pressure of a global staffing crisis, on the heels of a pandemic.
